Vessel Description: A 1987 30’ Wellcraft Scarab Sport equipped with twin outboard Mercury 250 HP engines, was reported stolen from Holiday, Florida on September 28, 2014. The hull is black with a custom color wrap with checkered flag graphics. “SCARAB” appears in yellow lettering on the port and starboard sides. The vessel has custom upholstery. The vessel also has a custom swim platform, instrument panel, radar arch, bow pulpit and windless anchor system. It is equipped with stern underwater LED lights as well as LED lights under the interior gunwales. The M/V’s HIN is WELP3089C787 and the Registration No. is FL 3033 MP. The 2002 twin, 250 HP Mercury XL EFI Outboard Engines have Serial Numbers: OT589536 & OT542283. At the time of theft, the vessel was atop a 2002 Quickload tandem trailer with custom aluminum tire rims. The trailer VIN is 420BB302821T00546. It bears Florida Tag No. 264 YYT. The vessel and trailer were reported stolen to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office under Case No. 14-34557.
