Vessel Description: The M/V “GIGA BITE,” a 35’ Dusky Open Sports Fisher w/ a 300HP Caterpillar Diesel engine, was reported missing from it’s mooring on the South side of Cayman Brac, Cayman Islands on or about November 9, 2008. The hull is dark blue with a white cabin. The vessel’s manufacturer, “Dusky 33 Off-Shore,” appears on the starboard and port aft of the hull. The vessel’s name, “GIGA BITE,” appears on the stern in large white letters. The vessel’s HIN is DUS6006 1598. The turbo 300HP Caterpillar Diesel engine has Serial Number: 1ZJO2350. The theft was reported to the Royal Cayman Islands Police Department under Incident No. CAC100023762.
